• Academy Awards denies Banksy' request to attend in disguise

  The masked street artist Banksy has been denied by the Oscars to attend its ceremony in disguise, according to several reports. The British artist’s feature Exit Through the Gift Shop is nominated for Best Documentary at this year’s Academy Awards. • Thirteen Artists Award 2009 Winners announced!

  We are pleased to announce that Filippino artists Jaypee Samson, Pam Yan Santos and Don Dalmacio were amongst the 13 artists to be awarded the prestigious Thirteen Artists Award 2009.
  
  Jaypee Samson had his first overseas solo exhibition "Iskul Bukol" in Utterly Art on 23rd October 2008. Pam Yan Santos participated in the group exhibiton "Postcards from the Philippines" in 2007, and Don Dalmacio was part of "Stories from Home" in 2008.
